Jim BaileyJune 29, 2017Nice little airport, simple and easy to navigate. Small food court for a quick bite or beer and some relaxing rocking chairs to pass some time with.
Very easy airport. Great and fast security. Limited destinations to ATL, CLT and DFW. Friendly bar. FAST at everything here! Come to golf, not much else.

Very small airport that really captures the laid back Southern spirit
Please check to make sure you seat belt is securely fastened. Your seat back and tray table are in the full upright and locked position & all carry-on luggage is placed completely underneath the seat.
Don't check baggage. The baggage takes longer to go from plane to belt then the entire flight from Atlanta to Augusta.

Most relaxing airport I've been to. Super comfy chairs and outdoor seating areas. Use the rocking chairs outside.

I have no idea what they do with the bags that takes so long but other than that, great airport
There are actually 2 soda machines and a snack machine outside of security and 1 soda machine after security. Please disregard the other tip.

Go up one exit and make sure you fill up on some bojangles sweet tea and chicken. ;)

The cafe doesn't have Coca Cola beverages. In Georgia!
This place is getting busier so don't wait until 30 minutes before you flight to arrive because you will be stuck at security.
Use the north entrance for easier access to long term parking.
The can't make a manhattan but Maker's Mark on the rocks is never a bad thing

Don't check bags. They take way to long to come out. Don't depend on the shuttle as its never around.

Check In terminates 30 min prior to flight. No need to be here 2+ hours early. Hour tops will suffice.

It's a small airport with one bar. Service was terrible. Had to keep reminding bartender for food and drink orders and never did get my appetizer. Food is pre made & nuked, and pricey for what it is.
TSA folks are nice but bag checked me for a watch in my jewelery clutch! Really!
