- Make sure you get in at the right time for animal encounters for interesting trivia. The volunteers & zookeepers are very helpful - so ask them anything! The enclosures are very thoughtfully designed.

raf sanchezJanuary 8, 2013In summer and during holidays the zoo is packed and the 2 car-parks are full by 10am so if you're driving be prepared to walk from wherever you find to park!
The watering hole is a great stopping point on a hot day. Maybe bring togs for the kiddies- Great enclosures, friendly staff and volunteers, informative encounters. Love this zoo!

New water play area near the Elephants is a bit sharp, but great on's hot day!
