- Project Latte: a NYC cafe culture guideSeptember 9, 2014A shop with rotating coffee roasters (some of which aren't our favorite), Astoria Coffee is an attractive, quiet, high-ceilinged space, run by friendly folks, with wifi, plugs, in an underserved area.
- Nice, sunny, inviting space. Refill discounts on drip coffee. Pastries discounted in the evening. Fun and good rotating selection of roasters (like Demitasse from LA!)
- Project Latte: a NYC cafe culture guideOctober 31, 2015Astoria is a very friendly shop w/ lots of light, attractive design, wifi, plugs & lots of laptop users. They rotate coffee roasters but house espresso is Brioso - not our fave. http://j.mp/1XCmzaJ
- Kimmie OhhSeptember 28, 2019Ice cream is from Ice & Vice. Baked goods are from Ceci Cela & Amy’s Bread. Alfajores are from Buenos Angie’s. Tea is from Tea Pigs. Coffee is from roasters all over the country. Love the latte art!

- Project Latte: a NYC cafe culture guideSeptember 5, 2014Friendly, quiet neighborhood spot with attractive design, using rotating coffee roasters, currently one we're not familiar with, Deeper Roots, out of Cincinnati. Good place to read or work. (8/14)
- Janice SchwartzApril 3, 2020This coffee shop is the best place to relax and enjoy coffee. They have all the things that I needed, and I'm thankful because the staffs here are very attentive. Thank you so much! Keep it up, guys!
- Alex HennesseyAugust 8, 2015They play Art Tatum albums, they're super friendly, and the coffee is robust and flavorful. Prices are comparable to good cafes in the area and the space is welcoming. Winner!
- SusumuDecember 23, 2018A decent cafe in Astoria. Free WiFi, restroom, accepts Apple Pay. Pastries become cheaper after 5pm.
- An amazing assortment of roasters and beans. Kind and knowledgeable baristas and a wonderful space.
- StefaniFebruary 17, 2017Great service , very quiet environment and delicious coffee. Get the house coffee, it's what 90% of the clients were ordering so it must be good.
- The staff is super friendly, warm, and welcoming. As a Barista of 8 years, their coffee and cold brew is ALWAYS on point (trust me)
- Melanie W.September 28, 2014Adorable new coffee shop in Astoria. I really enjoyed the Japanese iced coffee. I don't know what makes it Japanese, but it was good.
- RayApril 26, 2016Decent cortado, great croissants, lovely space and people. Baked goods are $1 off after 5pm!

- Ryan ThomasApril 1, 2015Nice little coffee place with reasonable prices for a reasonable size not like the other places with a small up for 3.50
- Shui LeeHnetinkaDecember 20, 2017Astoria is very good coffee shop and delicious coffee in pleasant & quiet environment.
- Manuel BetancourtSeptember 19, 2018Good coffee. Great atmosphere when its employees don’t treat the coffee shop as their own break room.
- Maxwell FoxmanAugust 4, 2015Awesome space that is full of light. Technically you can only work using the wifi for an hour but nobody was pushing me out the door.
- Iced Coffee, with a nut-blend milk (snicker, snicker) available for my lactards. Nice staff, too.
- Scott InglesDecember 14, 2017Lovingly poured coffee and tea, always a great soundtrack, 1hr of free wifi.
- They make a darn good Oatmilk Latte. Solid cold brew as well.
- Bryan CuartasMarch 30, 2021For some reason I never liked their lattes or coffee. I will have to try again in the future
- Nice space with quality coffee, inviting and lots of natural sunlight
- Vincent WintingAugust 13, 2016Iced coffee is solid... wifi is only for 60 min though 😕 it is a small space so they can't really have people staying all afternoon
- NetsirkJuly 13, 2015Cute coffee shop but gets really full and not enough seating/space for working on a laptop.
