- EaterMarch 30, 2017Asha Tea House owner David Lau is serious about sourcing antioxidant rich matcha in both standard and ceremonial grades from family farms in Uji, Japan's premium growing region.
- Ryan RixMay 20, 2016Most folks come here for the Boba but their loose leaf selection is incredible. Great fruit teas, the Pineapple Oolong is amazing. Try the Lapsang Souchong or High Mountain Dark Roast
- Wilson Favre-DelerueFebruary 22, 2017Loose leaves, milk and matcha bases and tisanes. Beautiful selection, Nordic/Japanese design aesthetic. Few seats but comfy. Not cheap and accepts Apple Pay, convenient when you forget your wallet.Upvoted Aug 23
- Got the Chai Latte and it was fantastic. Great for something warm on a cool day.
- One of my favorite was spots in financial district! Delicious matcha and sweet boba! Avoid going right after work ends. Long lines during rush hour.
- Loved the iced blood orange tea, full of delicious pulp. Both the menu and atmosphere are a definite step up from your standard bubble tea spot.
- I'm a fan of the HK milk tea and blood orange oolong. Not overly sweet like Tpumps and better quality tea. I prefer the drinks/ambiance at the Berkeley location.
- Maggie SheldonJanuary 29, 2017I love that Asha offers non-dairy options for their teas! This is one of my favorite pearl milk tea spots. They have an Arnold Palmer equivalent that's very tasty, too. The line always moves quickly.
- Tom CoatesMarch 17, 2019High quality matcha drinks here among many others. The matcha macchiato is tasty, small and intense. I prefer the matcha at Stonemill in the mission but this place is still very good.
- BommyMarch 10, 2016Cozy space. Golden lily oolong tea on the artisan tea menu is smooth and soothing but so expensive at $6.50! Hawaiian butter mochi snack is $3.50.
- I love their matcha latte, that's my go-to. Ginger honey is also delicious, great on a cold day or when you feel you're catching a cold. Oh and their chai is good too!
- These guys knows how to make a cup of matcha, the tea house also has the gentle aroma of tea at all times.
- Ashley MowreyMarch 30, 2018They have mocha muffins, which are 👏🏻 delicious. The prices are reasonable and the drinks (especially the chai and matcha latte) are 👌🏻
- Billy LeetOctober 10, 2015Their soft opening seems pretty solid to me! Awesome Hong Kong style milk tea, and really pleasant workers.
- Matcha latte and HK Milk Tea were delicious! They sell all of their own loose leafs and have traditional teas too!
- Unsweetened matcha latte with almond milk + Hawaiiian mochi is the perfect afternoon snack.
- Venugopal VenkatramanAugust 31, 2018The tea is really good, and they are fast too despite the crowd. The chai tea is really good here.
- they have both quality teas and fun teas with toppings. Their matcha is the best!
- The ginger honey tea includes a decently-sized chunk of fresh ginger.
- Ting SFebruary 22, 2016Beautiful design again, I love this hidden tea-oasis in the center of the city.
- Marty MadridOctober 21, 2019Try the Hong Kong Milk Tea, so good! Pro Tip: there are bathrooms, just way in the back behind the curtain.
- KarenJanuary 19, 2019Not your typical bubble tea place. The tea here is much more traditional, as expected from a Japanese teahouse.
- Aditi LuthraMay 21, 2018Masala chai was ok, cold brew & Hong Kong iced coffee for coffee drinkers, cute ambiance, lots of options
- Kseniya MakarovaJanuary 15, 2016Everything is delightfully crafted. Peach black tea + green tea cookie is a favorite
- Matcha latte with almond milk and boba. Sweet and bitter all at once.
- Obsessed with the iced fruit teas; kiwi green in particular is so refreshing.
- Hong Kong milk tea hot, low sugar. Good way to start the morning.
- Margaret RyanDecember 23, 2015the Matcha tea is a winner here. The only place I can find it downtown.
- Good variety of teas from fruit to milk to traditional.
- DOctober 29, 2017Closes at 6pm on Saturdays, not your regular boba tea shop work hours so check the time before you go.
- Expect a line out the door between 2 and 3 PM on weekdays.
- Tiffany WongDecember 22, 2017liked the option of coffee milk tea but they'd probably be better separately
