Oldest bar in Cincinnati. Great atmosphere, good beer selection at good prices, and really good burgers. Can be a little cramped at times but great place to go with a couple friends.
This bar has been in business since 1861, full of history and unique charm. Local Cincydraftson tap, an outdoor patio with live music, Victorian decor, and plenty of ghost stories.
They claim to be the oldest bar in Cincy. I'm not sure, but the set is great. An outdoor eating area with heat so that you can sit outside in the winter and listen to local talent.
The outdoor courtyard looked great, but we ended up sitting upstairs and it felt like I was in someone's house without all the furniture. Way too loud, and the decorations were awful.
Hopefully, since this was during Bockfest, the prices weren't typical of this place. I found the beer prices to be OUTRAGEOUS ($9-$10/pint).The food was pretty good, but also expensive.
