- One of the best Sushi restaurants I have been to. Everything on the menu is refreshingly different and delicious. If you are in a group - order and share. Best way to enjoy as portions are good.
- Teri PytelMay 2, 2013I'm pretty sure there is a new chef. I know it's a different menu from the "tips" I've read. Here on a Thursday might. No problem getting a seat at 6:30 pm good service. Naan w/ sauces, halibut good!
- John SDecember 22, 2013Highly recommend; negative reviews are off-base. Ordered the naan bread, lobster roll, duck trio, and day scallops. Ordered scallops per server's recommendation, was thoroughly pleased. Ask 4 Nicholas
- Mika JainMarch 6, 2015You can't go wrong with the beignets, their signature dessert. For vegetarians, order the veggie sushi as it is. The pineapple adds a nice kick.
- Chicago TribuneFebruary 4, 2015Lunch menu includes pumpkin soup, mushroom ravioli, kung pao chicken; dinner includes Angus short rib, cider-brined chicken, ginger creme brulee. Read more
- Ella L.July 28, 2013Sushi is great; very fresh! Must try the octopus maki and the fried lobster maki. Both were delish!
- Jeff WangFebruary 20, 2012Gotta try chef beverly kims signature dish, the quail egg and pork belly kimchee stacks. Kimchee is made in house, these were awesome!
- Stephanie SmithJune 9, 2011Gnocci is amazing! Steak is overcooked and is like shoe leather. 5 steaks were ordered, not one was tender or cooked properly. Moscow mule drink is a must!
- Crain's Chicago BusinessAugust 6, 2010Short-rib pad see eew is a knockout. Flavorful, well-seasoned beef and sweetly glazed — not gravy-laden — wide rice noodles take this dish beyond the takeout staple. Read more
- Christian ShalayDecember 1, 2012Wow. Friday night and there isn't a soul in this place. Did I miss something. Have been told that this is a great spot to eat????
- Michael KlynstraJune 1, 2012Wow. The lobster maki has an amazing slightly smoky charred not that rocks. Give it a go.
- Tricia BanachFebruary 25, 2012Chef Beverly was so nice and amazing! Best restaurant week menu we have had :). Highly recommend!
- Gabriela MuzquizOctober 18, 2010I don't think it's currently in the menu but their crème brûlée is/was fantastic! This is one of my favorite restaurants
- Jay LabelleNovember 15, 2011Burger and fries for lunch is off the hook. Nice bread and spread before and orange bark after rocks
- Daniel McConchieJune 7, 2011Unless your sodium is in the tank, be sure to ask for 'no added salt' to your steak - otherwise your blood pressure will be at comatose levels by the time you leave.
- Adam LaiacanoJanuary 1, 2015There are lots of great places to eat in Chicago. Go to one of those places instead.
- J LFebruary 21, 2015The seafood in the entrees was decent but overall there is a lack of uniqueness/flavor. Service is pretty on point for a Fairmont restaurant. You will be paying $$$ for a meal here. Go elsewhere!
- Earth Hour Illinois 2012March 29, 2012aria restaurant will be featuring two specialty cocktails: “Lights Out” sangria and “Light My Fire”.
- Mitzi LawrenceSeptember 18, 2011Bring your own thermos! Coffee refills require taking a server and coffee pot by force!
- Robert LowryOctober 30, 2011Check out chef Beverly Kim competing on Bravo's Top Chef beginning November 2nd.
- Steve CoronaJuly 17, 2013Sushi is tasty but expensive. $10 for a roll and $6 per nigiri? Domo arigato
- Kyle ForneySeptember 8, 2010expensive to do it right. food and service are excellent. I'd get the BBQ duck chow mein again!
- Lori O.August 28, 2013Don't go for brunch. The waiter seemed 'surprised' we were there for brunch (only 1 table was there) It took 30 minutes just to get drinks in which we closed out and left to go somewhere else.
- Crain's Chicago BusinessMay 10, 2010Chicken is anything but ordinary here, with each dish given its own global spin. Try the lightly spiced tandoori chicken. Read more
- Stephanie SmithJune 9, 2011Extremely slow service. Waited 30 mins after dinner until dessert was served.
