Peels' biscuits are an abomination. Their enduring popularity is offensive to my Southern sensibilities. A friend and colleague put it best when he said they are "fit for yankees".
Sit at the bar to avoid the wait and enjoy their fantastic biscuits, a cocktail, and a coffee.
It's a long wait, but they'll take your number and give you a call when your table is ready. It doesn't matter what you order as long as you make sure to have a biscuit on the side.
