HISTORY UK: The luxury department store began life in 1813 as a linen shop run by Benjamin Harvey from a terraced house. His daughter married Colonel Nichols in 1820, an expert in oriental rugs and silks.
Benj Sellers: Great place for lunch - business or pleasure. I have to recommend the homemade burgar and chunky chips, though the whole menu is always very tasty. Good table service and you can see the chefs cook.
