NYU hangout. Good sports bar by can get a little wild and packed at times. The downstairs is usually more calm. Plenty of great beers and good food choices too. Sometimes an upstairs dance party...
I went in there today and had the portobello mushroom sand which and it was DELICIOUS. I sat at the bar and got taken care of Samantha who was a doll. Would definitely come back again.
My friends and I come here every Monday for the oyster and beer special. The food is great and Mike, the bartender/manager, is amazing. Absolutely check it out.
That really ridiculous looking contraption that looks like a bong filled w/ beer? Order one. It's actually a decent deal if you come w/ a big group. You won't have to bother the waitress much.
Greenwich Village: Check out their Bloody Mary Bar or unlimited mimosas for $12 added to your meal. Food costs are fair and try the CandyPeppered Bacon!
Head to the upstairs and watch some sports or get cozy in the pub downstairs. Either way, enjoy their strong and constantly-changing tap selection in this unique venue.
I tried the Well's Banana Breadbeer last night and it was like drinking a delicious loaf of b-bread. Downside is that I felt super full-- as if I actually ate an entire delicious loaf of b-bread.
Have the Angry Burger, stuffed with sweet, caramelized onions. Best one, hands down. Match that with a beer from the NY region (menu tells you origin, alcohol, & price) and you're good to go.
http://www.burgerweekly.com/amity-hall/ The burger was definitely flavorful, but didn’t bring enough heat. You’re probably better off going for the Juicy Lucy.
The Tuesday pizza special is the same price as the menu since you can only pick hh beers. Be warned you can taste the butter in the crust, which is really crispy
Good beer selection and decent food, but they np longer have the $1 burgers and $0.25 toppings on Tuesdays. Good local joint, but nothing to write home about.
