If you want to avoid a crowded theater, definitely try this one during the day. It was virtually empty around 1 pm on a weekday. Sometimes you just want to watch a movie on a giant screen in peace!
No rows in the theatre, so when you choose where you are sitting and you see seats reserved, know that if you pick a seat next to someone, you are right there up close & personal with them! :-)
Don't forget to explore upstairs. You can view the projection room and look at artwork on the wall. Go early and you can wait in the lounge before your movie starts.
Food (black bean burger)! Comfortableclean seats!! Entire atmosphere! Quickly, has become my favorite theater. Super well staffed w/ great friendly service.
The kitchen and bar don't open until 4 pm on weekdays. So, the reason to come to this overpriced theatre doesn't apply to any weekday matinees. They sell it as a speakeasy but don't follow through.
the seating chart online is very misleading. last time i was here it was the Landmark Theatres Metro Cinemas and the rooms did not space out like this.
Comfy, though pricey, and they really need to stop with the "choosing your seat" at the ticket counter without having seen the layout of the auditorium.
Dine-in only applies to movies starting after 3pm, only meat option is an $8 frozen Fletcher hot dog that they microwave at the counter and popcorn, candy. No nachos or real food.
Sundance is an overpriced and slightly uncomfortable experience...the worst part is probably the unexplained amenity fee and cold popcorn. Give your money to somewhere else, like Cinebarre
