- Amy BAugust 1, 2017Lively, delicious addition to an already great part of SF. Most items are meant to be shared with plates being small. Everything is delicious. Don't expect a quiet meal. Space makes it loud but fun.
- Jake Teton-LandisOctober 1, 2017Fried delecata squash, the drinks, the pasta we’re all amazing. Good balance of value and flavor. Sneak a seat at the bar to skip the wait!
- All of the food is amazing. Spring for the seasonal dishes and pastas in particular. But come early to avoid a ridiculous wait
- Tom MaxwellMarch 4, 2021Incredible pasta — the bucatini with red sauce was great. Great wait staff too
- Pavan KulkarniDecember 11, 2017Top class Italian restaurant in Hayes valley. Nice romantic ambiance with really good food. Try the kale white cheese pizza . Minced chicken balls were good too. Loved the negroni here.
- Shrutika SachdevAugust 2, 2017The homemade pasta is delicious as is the pizza! Oh and appetizers - so everything! Lamb pasta is spot on! Great addition to Hayes Valley.
- The cauliflower appetizer is amazing - must have, super flavorful. For the main you cannot do wrong with any of the pasta choices.
- Kim OswellJune 3, 2017Get the asparagus, spring onion, lemon, caciocavallo pizza! Great place to grab a casual dinner and get your fill of delicious Italian dishes.
- Ros HodgekissSeptember 8, 2017Leave your name on the door 1-2 hours before you're ready to eat and grab a drink elsewhere. The wait is worth it and even better if you can pass the time while waiting for a table to open up.
- Brian StraussSeptember 27, 2023Really great for a spontaneous lunch. Attracted to come in by the larger healthy salads, seduced by the fantastic rigatoni and bucatini.
- Celine HFebruary 4, 2018Delicious pizza & pasta, but just a tad overpriced as plates are small in portion. I guess that’s the general scene in Hayes Valley though 🤷🏻♀️. Solid spot for people watching if you sit outside.
- Pick any sunny table for a perfect Sunday any time of year. Pastas & pizzas, yes, but don’t miss the *excellent* cocktails & antipasti.
- StephanyOctober 4, 2018The Monterey bay squid was excellent. The dude I went with had one of the handmade pastas and loved it.
- Tom MaxwellOctober 14, 2019For a perfect lunch, come here on a weekday afternoon. Service was great and the lamb rigatoni 👌
- BSJune 17, 2019The restaurant vibes is beautiful and the dishes is delicious but try to stay away from chicken cuz it has a smell 🙏🏼
- Phenomenal all around. Bucatini is the star of the show.
- CarissaJanuary 27, 2019all the pastas are excellent and so is the arancini. they don’t take reservations so i’d recommend an early visit (before 6 pm)
- Wow this is some really good Italian food. The chicken meatballs were phenomenal.
- Peggy LiJune 20, 2017The spaghettini with clams and chili flakes is perfect if you like seafood and a little kick to your pasta!
- Ben BarclayJuly 13, 2017We really enjoyed the bucatini and the summer squash pizza. House wine is a Sangiovese.
- Their Breakfast Spaghettini is a near perfect brunch meal: bits of bacon, wilted spinach and topped with a fried egg.
- Great pasta and cocktails at a very reasonable price. I like sitting at the bar!
- Linda YangAugust 12, 2017Stone fruit salad, pizza 🍕, duck mousse and strawberry mostarda, pasta 🍝 (not clam spaghettini)
- Rahim HashimFebruary 19, 2018Buckwheat rigatoni was delicious. 100% recommend, along with the beat salad appetizer
- Julia Khusainova ✨January 21, 2018Absolutely lovely and wonderful food. Loved pizza, very fresh and delicious.
- The Taste SheriffMay 18, 2018Typical SF restaurant. Pretentious (waiters fake Italian accent), average food, 1hr wait, expensive. Overall, below average. Those who claim it’s amazing probably haven’t had an amazing meal before.
- Fran SuFebruary 24, 2019Puzzled with the overwhelmingly good reviews. Both pizzas and pastas are average. Fresh pastas are overrated. Rigatoni is slightly better than other ones.
- J TDecember 26, 2017Surprisingly well priced for the location and ambience. The pastas are good. Several vegetarian options.
- Adelia Curtis duarteNovember 18, 2018Love the hand made pastas & seasonal menu. Vegetarian friendly.
- BommyAugust 9, 2017Good ambiance but plates are small, thereby negating the "affordability" tagline. Left still hungry.
