- I love Al Vento and come here a lot. Generally the pasta dishes and entrees are delicious I cannot say the same for the pizza's they are just so-so. Skip the pizza's - eat anything else!
- Vicky MoffatNovember 11, 2010I adore this place. On Mondays and Tuesdays they have 1/2 bottles of wine and $20 per person date night special including appetizer, entree, and desert :) Also the atmosphere is perfect for a date.

- Nicole BengtsonJune 14, 2012Excellent service from our waiter Ben! Everything we had was delicious: Spaghetti, Bucatini, ravioli (smoked chicken) & chocolate torte.
- Natalie OstromAugust 2, 20131/2 priced wine during happy hour. If you get there before 6 pm you can select from a good list of wines for 1/2 off.
- Great food! Date night is always a good time. My only complaint is that the staff didn't know anything about the 4square special offer and when I became mayor they didn't hook me up with a free meal:(
- Mallory OlsonNovember 13, 2012Wait staff is fantastic and their happy hour ain't too bad either! A must visit for the south Minneapolis hood.
- Andy GieferMarch 7, 2013No one talks about the pizza. It's some of the best I've had anywhere in the cities.
- Betsey GilesOctober 9, 2011Wonderful menu, fine Italian dining without the huge price tag. Tuesday night "date night" $20 for four courses!
- Erica DaoFebruary 28, 2011Tried Al Vento for Restaurant Week and the food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back. However, the service definitely needs improvement. Painfully slow.
- Get the half price bottles of wine from 4-6 on weeknights it's a great deal!

- Jens SelinDecember 4, 2010Potato / Carrot soup: heavenly! Pork tenderloin: if possible even more heavenly! The bread: undiscribeable!

- EmilySeptember 24, 2016Poor comm. between staff. 3 orders delivered wrong. Waited an additional 20 min to correct, they took away the wrongfully placed food, what? None of us impressed by our food for the purchase price.
- Courtney ThomasNovember 9, 2009Get the spaghetti and meatballs with Mother Sauce. So tasty and perfect for a chilly night.
- Peyton WitzkeMay 27, 2012The service is terrible, 20% gratuity is already included so they do not work for the tips.
