After your feelings about Sultanahmet switch from wondrous (the mosques) to suicidal (the hordes), walk across the Galata bridge and come here for an oasis of serenity.

The Morgans sure know how to design a hotel. Great location in Istanbul's coolest hood, Malin+Goetz toiletries, brilliant decor & powerful rain showers.
I'm not huge on their espresso blend but the staff are lovely and it's great for Karakoy people watching on lazy afternoons.
A good reminder that Turkish food isn't just about kebab. Great simple food, fresh ingredients and well prepared.
