It seems that culinary authenticity is not Monaco's strong suit. The pizza here is not the best I've had but it's quite good. The atmosphere, design & service make up for any shortcomings.
If coming in the evening try to catch the live band, as the music otherwise is poor. Cocktails aren't great (bad ice & sazerac was unbalanced). Ask for the complimentary spinach pastry bar snacks.
Make sure you spend some time in the garden. Beautiful with panoramic views over Nice.
Grab lunch on the terrace of one of the many restaurants here. Brilliant location for it.
Oysters, mussels and gambas ala plancha are fantastic. Fish broth was a letdown and skip the fries.
