One of my favourite vintage shops in Barcelona. Great selection of retro clothes sold by kilograms. Not too expensive, so they won't ruin your pocket. I always end up with a new dress 👗!!!
Easy to overlook, but that would be a huge mistake! They've got a few tables outside and much more space inside at the way to the back where piano is. Absolutely divine food and service. Dog friendly!

I love the authentic feel of this place. Everything wears signs of decades of serving food and drinks. Have a bottle or perhaps 2 of the home made cava and try to get used to crowds inside!
Known for the excellent fish - located in the most lovely square of Barcelona. I always head there on a hot summer night and sit outside. You will be given a choice of fresh fish presented by waiter.
Gin, gin, gin - it's all about gin there. My personal best is basil infused gin with tonic served in a huuuge glass. Always packed on the weekends is a guarantee of a fun crowd.
We were the only people sitting outside since we came with dogs and waiters seemed to forget about us. Food compensated it though - try delicious cheese with sobrasada and honey, eggplant or squid.
Best place for late hangover brunch on the weekend! Portions are huge as your headache and an excellent cure to your resaca too. Try virgin bloody mary and one of their breakfast classics.
Can't get enough of this place. Amazing quality of food accompanied with natural wines can melt down everyone's heart. Try octopus, burrata, scallops or porchetta. Advisable to book a table!

Amazing spot on Barcelona's cocktail map. Getting inside is like taking a time machine to the 50ties. Great ambient and impressive cocktail list make me a regular visitor there :)
Perfect for a vermut and something to bite - croquetas with sepia, pulpo and patatas bravas are a must! Sunny terrace, nice service (a bit slow) and a bowl of water for dogs makes it my local fav.
Although ramen is delicious and comes in all different versions, buta-don with pork is what i would kill for. And lemonade...
Best cocktails in town - and I'm a proper alcoholic ;) My love to this bar is eternal. Make yourself comfortable upstais or stay at the bar if you're into buzzing ambience. Dogs are welcomed too!
Their eggs benedict and pink lemonade where love from the first bite - you cannot go wrong about it!!! Gets super crowded on the weekends so either you wait and envy others or book in advance :)

Have patience - service is slow as a snail, but food compensates it all: I love their tuna tartare with a dash of beetroot, fried octopus with topinambour and bravas. And they accept dogs too!
Not to be missed if you're in Raval. Vermut + olives for 2€ plus you can bring your four legged friend over - there's a bowl of water waiting for dogs at the entrance.
Fantastic concept of a healthy quick bite in a middle of raval. Always fresh and made on the go - my absolute fav is pita with sweet potato bolas.
Nice and quiet hideaway just a second away from the crowded streets. Alright food but cool stuff and nice music. Nice to sit down from walking or to chill here during the day and study/work!

Best Italian ice cream place in town! Selection of flavours can make you feel dizzy but helpful staff will let you try them before selecting. They also have gluten and lactose free and vegan options.

El Tio Che is a legend! Known mostly for their refreshing horchata drink, but I value most their artesanal ice cream. Line might scare you a bit, but it's totally worth waiting!!!

Fantastic example that veggie food doesn't have to be boring, smelly and overcooked. I love the place and beautiful way how dishes are served. Try black rice and coconut yogurt dessert. Dog-friendly!

I go there only once a year when panallets season is on, theirs are absolutely the best!

I love the concept of choosing your food which is then prepared on the go. Try their gambas and mejillones, so fresh and good. Now, be prepared for a huuuge line to get it, but it's totally worth it!
Mexican deli and delicious ice cream. They've got a variety of original flavours - my personal best is coconut with raspberries.
I'm not a vegetarian myself and love beef burgers but their veggie burgers are amazing! If you are hungry and around and not looking for a fancy place it's definitely a good choice for a bite.
Extremely good value for the price - fresh, tasty and fast. Try one of the keftas or platos combinados - my fav is veggie with cheese arayes. If you're regular you get baklava and mint tea on house!:)

If you're not into fried food and you don't want to smell like a fried fish forget about this place. However, their patatas bravas and buñuelos de bacalao are amazing and everyone should try them!!!

I loved their patatas bravas and shrimp skewers, lovely decors and the fact I could bring my dog over. What I didn't appreciate was a poor service, perhaps because of rush Sunday lunch hours.
What I loved about that place are nachos - portion that would fill an army. Michelada wasn't really my thing, but I enjoyed cool decors and ambience and the fact that they're super dog friendly.
No longer a secret gem, but still great. Grab a bottle of bubbles, something to nibble, put comfortable shoes, because you will have to climb your way up, but the view compensates it all!

I had a bit mixed feelings about Momos - I loved their service, but food wise hmm... Gyozas were amazing, but salmon tartar and chicken with sesame didn't rock my world.

If you're looking for a good neapolitan pizza head to MadreLievito. I love their unpretentious interiors and a nice service. Italians eat there, so there has to be something good about their pizza :)
Great choice to head for a drink after paying a visit to Cine Verdi next doors. They have all kinds of different vermuts to try - from local producers to international distillers!
Just 2 blocks away from shopping paradise - passeig de gracia you can relax and taste delicious tapas in that tiny place. I love their bravas and salmon tataki accompanied with a glass of vermut.
Excellent place to have a break, grab a book, cup of coffee and something sweet and spend some good quality time away from a noisy passeig de gracia.
Finally a place Poblenou was missing on its gastronomic map - a bit more chic with great decors and cool ambient. Good for a meal or drink. Food was ok, but not mind blowing, loved pulpo. 🐶 allowed!
