While expatriates in Kuala Lumpur tend to live in diverse areas, some places have proven to be more popular than others. Here are a few of the more "expat-preferred" neighborhoods.
AidaSellsKL: Home to many deluxe bungalows, semi-D's and high-rise condos, some of which a quite luxurious with excellent facilities. Amenities are aplenty, including three international schools (MKIS, GIS, LFKL).
AidaSellsKL: High on the preferred list of many discerning expats, Bangsar's appeal can be attributed to the community-based facilities/amenities placed within walking distance of the cosy residential areas.
AidaSellsKL: Also known as Bukit Damansara, it was once dubbed as the Beverly Hills of KL. Located <5km from the city, this much sought-after residential area consists of large detached houses & luxury condos.

AidaSellsKL: Popular with expats due to its excellent location, greenery and isolation; despite being only 15mins away from KLCC. This neighbourhood has a "park-feel" and is situated close to a commercial centre.
AidaSellsKL: Fondly referred to as TTDI, it is an affluent major township in Kuala Lumpur consisting of an upper middle class residential area with some commercial development. Easily accessible to both KL and PJ.
AidaSellsKL: Fairly close to KLCC, most of the foreign embassies are close to the KL end of Jalan Ampang and therefore many diplomats choose to live in here. Nearby international schools-- ISKL, Sayfol & Fairview.
AidaSellsKL: Damansara Perdana is part of the Golden Triangle of Petaling Jaya and has a mixed development of commercial & residential properties. It is also one of the most exclusive suburbs in the Klang Valley.
AidaSellsKL: A highly popular residential+commercial zone that is easily accessible via LDP & Penchala Link. Pockets of land reserved for playgrounds & bicycle tracks linking each residential precinct are built.
AidaSellsKL: Commonly known as PJ, there are plenty of companies located here; and for expats working in this part of the Klang Valley, there is a great range of reasonably priced property to choose from.
AidaSellsKL: This administrative capital houses most of the federal government buildings. Located in the multimedia super corridor, it has a number of man-made attractions including lakes, gardens & parks.
AidaSellsKL: Connected to central KL by highways and an express train, Cyberjaya has an increasing number of IT companies and universities. Situated adjoining Putrajaya, it is home to a sizable expat population.
