Did you know that the Stoner House was originally located about 25 ft back on the lot? It was moved closer to the corner and given a new foundation in the mid 1980s.
AIA Wisconsin is proud to claim the Joseph J. Stoner House as its official headquarters. This imposing two-story Italianate structure, was built in 1855 of indigenous sandstone. The Stoner House was named a Madison Landmark in 1973 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
