- Very clean and efficient airport as far as flights go. Money exchange open at 9am, that's a bummer. Also no Internet connection without cash!Upvoted 1 week ago
- Jacobo MartinezJuly 8, 2013Look for the ado buses that take you to the city. So much cheaper and just as fast as a taxi + sometimes they have wifi! From there, the taxi will be half of the price you would pay from the airportUpvoted 5 days ago
- Brittany ThiessenDecember 28, 2011Bienvenidos a Mexico!! You will fall in love with the authentic food, culture, history, language, weather and the friendly people.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Rrawat FelknerJuly 30, 2018The Marketplace by Wolfgang Puck is good place to grab quick bite. They have made to order pizza & sandwiches. Medium pizza about $12 US. Tried margarita. Was excellent. Next to Tequila Taco.Upvoted Sep 14
- Michael McKinleyDecember 27, 2017You need to eat at the Margaritaville restaurant. It is exceptional. A little pricey, but the food is terrific! Also, you cannot believe the duty-free shop without buying something.
- The best way to either go to Cancun downtown or playa del Carmen is to take the ADO bus, you can buy your ticket outside at the parking lot, make sure to pay in pesos. No free wifi at the airport.
- Amy CummingsJanuary 16, 2019If you’ve already coordinated a ride with your resort, walk past all the people inside and go all the way outside, by the welcome bar (most places let you bring your drink in the shuttle, too)!
- Tony TJune 21, 2022Gets you in and out quick. It does what its supposed to do. Do not wait til the end of your visit to get the souvenirs at the airport. They are very pricey compared to the many markets out there.
- DoubleDeuceFebruary 4, 2020If you buy something from Duty Free, they will give you a 20% off coupon for your next purchase. So buy something small, then use the coupon for something big!
- Edward DelfinoMarch 19, 2020It’s small size with a decent variety of restaurants & shops. Parking is convenient. Customs is quick, retrieving your bags is quick too. I got a private van to my hotel for $50US round-trip
- Edna WyenaJanuary 8, 2014Walk straight through. Don't talk to the people next to the exit. Unless you want to do a 90 min timeshare presentation. If u do the presentation keep asking for gifts.
- Manden a la chingada a todos los coyotes taxistas. ADO sale de ahí y los shuttles. Don't be gringo pendejo, and spend your $ like a twat with the first tiny Mexican that wants you to get into his taxi
- Damian BayonaMay 22, 2017If arriving, not much going on except taxi bullying. If departing, there is a priority pass "business lounge" that has free drinks and small snacks - comfy place to escape the chaos near the gates
- Wagner SLJune 6, 2016It's a very bad welcome experience on arriving in such a beautiful region. The best option to escape from here is to rent a car, especially if you are with more people.
- Alex VolkovDecember 20, 2018Don't waste your time in pre security zone, once you pass security there's a huge mall with shops, Starbucks, everything you might need
- Aeropuerto Internacional de Cancún (CUN)February 1, 2013The best way to move around by land is renting a car. The Riviera Maya covers 100 miles. To rent a car you need to be 21 years old, hold a valid drivers license and a credit card.
- DeebeeMay 27, 2016Gifts are more affordable at the airport. Snacks at the air shop convenience store are pretty pricey. The airport is small and easy to navigate and really clean too.
- MsTiffany_December 28, 2014The airport terminal for Delta is small and was easy to get through. A few places to eat and I loved the Duty Free store. There is a nice gift shop for reasonably priced souvenirs.
- Michael McKinleyDecember 27, 2017Don’t leave the duty-free shop without buying Cuban cigars. Reasonably priced and it is legal to bring them into the United States. You cannot exceed 100 cigar. If you do,you will be taxed.
- Andrew CNovember 28, 2019On arrival, the immigration line is quite efficient... book any transfers prior to arrival, as there are many tour guides trying to sell experiences! On departure, check-in staff are all quite helpful
- Andrew BC 翁 ÔNGMay 9, 2015Amazing views of the coastlines of Caribbean Sea & Gulf of Mexico from the sky before touch down

- MarkFebruary 23Connect to the MegaCable wifi. Put in your full name, email, and cell phone number (without the country code) for free wifi. "CUN wifi" is no longer a thing no matter what articles online say.
- B DeezieMarch 4, 2015If you buy alcohol at the Duty Free, plan on putting it in your checked bag when you get back to the states. The "Cuban" cigars are fake and customs will take them anyway and cause you problems.
- Cass GrimmFebruary 19, 2017Fairly small and easy to navigate. From there you can take an ADO bus to cancun center for 72 pesos, and the bus that goes alllll the way through zona hotelera only costs 10 pesos!
- Camilo AngelNovember 4, 2016No matter what you do, once you get there do not take a cab. They're super expensive! Get an Uber and you instantly get a 50%+ discount from what a taxi will charge you to your hotel.
- One of the busiest hubs in Mexico. Arrive on time because sometimes lines are long
- Paul PanicciaDecember 20, 2019Congrats - you’ve made it to paradise. But can you make it out the front doors? As a reminder, most of the “vendors” outside Customs will try to sell you anything. Keep cool, say “no, gracias.”
- Tomas LegorretaDecember 20, 2016Very small airport. The international departure area has decent restaurants to grab something to eat. Also has a medium sized duty free store and a couple of bars
- John SmithMarch 27The police or security that detained my sister for a slight tear in her passport are literally special needs. It’s a good thing I wasn’t there because I’d slap the dog water out of all of them brownys

- Sabino DiazMay 15, 2023Do not accept help from anyone in the airport or take a taxi outside of the airport. Pre-book all your ground transportation if not prepare yourself to overpay.
- Vladan StankovićMay 7, 2019Their terminals being physically separated is a bit of a nuisance, but this is generally well organized and clean airport. Good choice off not that expensive places to get some food or drinks.
- Cori ScottJune 5, 2016Bags were really slow getting to the luggage pickup... On the bright side, the Hertz staff was very helpful and friendly throughout our car rental experience!

- Guillermo PérezMay 17It is HOT in here. To cool off a bit on terminal 2, go to the upper floor, where gates A 1 to 9 are. Another tip, convenience stores all have the same thing, none carry batteries.
- Nikhil CJune 30, 2018Don't forget the retain the lower copy of the form, you need it to leave the country.

- David AgrenMarch 10, 201850 pesos for a can of Coke, no free WiFi, no places to charge your phone. This is airport takes the prize for price-gouging
