This airport is great! Had a good experience with the need to use a wheelchair last min and Qantas/Jetstar and airportstaff were there assisting all the way.

One really nasty power tripping cow with spiked bleach hair in security checkin, loves to torment old people with metal hips. Yeah, do your job love, but no need to bully old ladies into tears.
Leave enough time to queue at the taxi rank. They recently (Feb 2013) changed the location of the rank & lot where the cabs wait and the system is NOT working. Queues at 7am - 9am can be 20-30 minutes
Watch out for a british dude at Hudsons Coffee on the way to the terminals. He held up a line for half an hour chatting to a few bimbos who were at the front.
