- Tepic ParksJuly 18, 2013Best Mexican food ever! Been coming here my whole life and love it. Four generations in my family and we all love it. Burritos, chimichangas, tacos, and the chili con queso are some of our favorites.
- Got to disagree with Mike R on the salsa. It is unique and more flavorful than the typical salsas served by every other Mexican restaurant. I go through withdrawal if I don't get it often enough.
- Acapulco Joe's is the best Mexican restaurant in Indy! They have the best chips and salsa hands down. These people are nuts if they believe the salsa is nasty.
- Pamela JuneMay 17, 2016The seafood chimichanga is my all time favorite. Delicious. The margaritas are on point.
- It is a tough choice between the Mexican omelet and the spicy biscuits and gravy. Both are awesome.
- Major DamoneFebruary 7, 2014They add red pepper to the biscuits and gravy to give it a kick and it is glorious!
- Sarah ChumbleyJune 23, 2012Been coming here forever. You're crazy if you don't like it! My favorite Mexican food of all time.
- Jana HarrellDecember 18, 2011Seafood chimi rocks!! Great wait staff, always friendly. Fav place to celebrate anything at all.
- Rachel ReinhartApril 22, 2012Biscuits and gravy are awesome! Spiciness depends on who's cooking, but always delicious!
- Zachary WebsterJuly 18, 2011If you don't dig the salsa, then just wait around bc the rest of the food is great. it is nice to have an unique place like this downtown
- Michael SmytheJuly 31, 2013New Owner focused on returning Joe's to it former glory! Watching the changes, all for the good!
- Robert GoadJuly 24, 2011So the salsa is "unique", the door pretty average, but their top shelf margarita will put you on the floor. Worth a trip for drinks alone. Plus it's an Indy institution (for whatever reason).
- Andrew FurmanMay 10, 2016Decent Mexican food at affordable prices. Not the best in town, but it's solid.
- Aaron ChanceyFebruary 1, 2013So we came here for devour downtown. Heard good things. I wanted something new. This place sucked. For mexican, they use too much sloppy joe mix. Or. Or they don't know salsa. Dumb. Read the caps.
- Tyler LasiterSeptember 8, 2011Indy wouldn't be the same without Joe's. The Chili Con Queso is amazing!
- Jessica BarlowFebruary 16, 2014Ignored the negative reviews but unfortunately, I do not recommend this place either. The salsa and guacamole were gross. The service was poor. Overall, it was not at all worth trying.
- Jackie PaquetteApril 29, 2011Food is mediocre as mexican goes...the best part is their fried ice cream. Definitely worth coming for.
- Dario NavarroMay 25, 2013Run from this place. Sat down for 25 minutes and was given stale chips. A waitress never showed her face even after asking the host to get us one. The host appears clueless as to what is going on.
- Amanda NighJanuary 27, 2013Worst Mexican food ever. The queso was disgusting-some powdered bowl of yuck. Ordered the 3 amigos-which was not good either. Go eat at a real Mexican place- like Panchos II at 96th and Allisonville
- Lisa HudsonSeptember 16, 2012Here's a tip, save your money and go hungry. It's horrible! Salsa is an a ketchup bottle thats been touched by 1000 people, chips are not even chips they're taco shells broken in half by God knows who.
- Angela MooreApril 30, 2012Sadly, Acapulco Joe is no longer with us. But I am relieved that he cannot see what is served here. I've had better frozen lunches of "Mexican" dishes.
- Sarai JohnsonJuly 24, 2013Don't eat here. It's like gas station food. The salsa is like ketchup. Plus, it's waaaayyy overpriced. I've never actually eaten truly nasty food before, but this is it.
- Mexican breakfast... It's much better than it sounds.
- I will never come back .so freaking nasty .wiped a booth with a babywipe and it came up black ..I wiped it cuz it was sticky .Ate the breakfast burrito . Didn't taste good at all and made me sick
- Melissa ElrodJuly 3, 2012Worst Mexican food I've ever had. The dining room and bathroom were disgusting. The 'salsa' was served in a ketchup bottle. The chips were stale. It took twenty minutes to get our microwaved queso.
- Paul KenfieldJanuary 6, 2012Not 100% sure the busboy knows about the health code, but I'd skip the chips anyway.
- Matt GraysonJune 2, 2013Worse food and salsa I have ever had. Didn't know that you could screw up beef tacos but they were successful at it
- jastina abulgubeinJanuary 27, 2013Yes. Terrible food. Good queso n salsa. Terrible manager wow the whole restaurant was falling apart and he stood at the host stand watching tv
- Been coming here for a while... Food is ok but the service is going down hill
- Mary BrownSeptember 9, 2013Worst Mexican ever!...they served this soupy tomato catsup sauce they tried to pawn off as salsa!...boo! Then I was over charged!!
