Very small and easy airport to fly out of. Not many people flying out so getting through security is easier than at other very busy airports. Highly recommended if your flying Spirit Airlines.Upvoted Dec 11, 2024
Bob TaylorApril 28, 2017Nice little airport, good concession, reasonable priced. TSA needs to streamline, its like no one knows who is on first and the process becomes much more complex than it needs to be.
Dave WSeptember 22, 2013Leaps and bounds better than PHL. It has its problems but compared to the other area big airports, to me it is worth the drive to use AC as my 'home' airport.
Spirit is awesome!! Just book your flight smartly and sit in the first two rows. As for Michael C.'s comment on old planes."get your head outta your ass" they're not old!

Candice L Clark-BertschySeptember 20, 2016They've made a lot of improvements to the inside with quicker TSA screening & adding more gates. It's a small - Int'l airport which has many flights yet is still an easy airport to navigate.

Gene CarolNovember 30, 2011I love this airport! I never wait in line to get through security. I am a little curious why the balding manager at Sam Adams Bar walks around with his chest puffed out giving everyone mean looks.
Watch your step on the shiny floors, they are not slippery... Took a spill entering the airport, many people came to help. Quick TSA but checked everybody, area seems really clean w/charging stations!

Debbie EvansAugust 19, 2012Disregard my last tip, Spirit blows! I sat on the plane for the duration of a flight to Myrtle Beach, (an 1hr and half) delayed after that, spent 15 hours in the airport, I was comped for NOTHING!

Stop your whining about Spirit Airlines. It's a cheap seat going where you need to go. If you wanna free coke go to PHL and sit in air traffic delays and pay twice as much.
Cara P.November 23, 2012I've had not so great experiences with spirit but this was a decent experience. I do think they are joking with the leg room in some rows. But it's convient and lower then most airlines.
