Do reserve your place in advance. Highly recommended for date night. Cocktails are superior. Their cheese collection is brilliant. Staff is warm and friendly. Must visit place in London.
Delicious tiny cocktail bar. An immediate favorite. Had a fantastic Whisky Sour and the service was impeccable. The bar was crowded but they manage to find a place for us, at the piano!
My favourite cocktail. The Santeria. Smoky and interesting, smells amazing - tastes as good as it smells, try it. Beautiful but deadly. Definitely a cocktail you won’t forget.
Really special little cocktail bar. Best to book - I have loved everything I've ever tasted here and the waiters are all lovely too. Like a little speakeasy off Essex Road.
Certainly the most gothcocktail ever - frankincense, patchouli, jasmine and pink pepper. Tastes good but you can tell it is deadly, also it comes in. TINY glass.
The absolutely delicious Woodland Martini isn't on the list, but worth asking for. Try their weird spirits, distilled in London from Mediterranean herbs, rocks and perfume ingredients.
Sit at the bar and chat to the bartenders while you watch them at work. Precision cocktail making in great glassware. Staff are excellent and very knowledgeable for recommendations.
So charming place, takes you back in time. Exelent cocktails selection, amazing glassware and friendly stuff. I just love the consept. Smart and classy. Well done
It used to be my favourite cocktail bars in London. In 2021 they switched half of the cocktails to preprepared ones. No more free appetisercocktail. Prices went up though. A little disappointing.
It's definitely intimate - there's only 10 small tables - but that is definitely part of its charm. Excellent waitress, tasty & unusual cocktails. Well worth a visit! (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Look out for a lantern on 69 Colebrooke Row and step into the laboratory of the cocktail legend himself, Tony Conigliaro. You can't help but appreciate the dedication to the craft at this bar.
Great cocktails, but if you show up without a reservation they'll seat you on the stairs of shame. They usually find you a table after about 15 mins in my experience, provided its not too busy.
Got a free cocktail, a "Prairie Oyster" - tomatoyolk, vodka, sherry, shallots, pepper, celery salt & herbs - served like an oyster. Not something I would usually try, but it was absolutely delicious.
Two absolute musts on the menu: Woodland Martini and Terroir. Try to sit at the bar, the interaction with the mixologists just add to the whole enjoyment of the place.
There's only one way to go at a place this good. First order something from the menu. Drink it. Then order your favourite cocktail. Drink that. Then order whichever your preferred again. Prost.
Tucked away off Essex Road, 69 Colebrooke Row bears an impressive pedigree. It’s the tiny flagship of bar supremo Tony Conigliaro, noted for his dedication to the art of the mixed drink
