The steakhouse choice of FiDi worker bees, 5A5 delivers on the steak front. There's a Japanese bent here, in that the name originates from the five senses and A5 grade Japanese Wagyu. Read more
The filet is the best, most inexpensive piece of meat I've ever tasted. Have had world class filets (kind of my thing) and this is awesome! Get with the blue cheesewedge salad for a perfect pairing.
The T-bone was a high quality meat, complimented with a sweet, hearty meat sauce and yolk. Iceberg was crispy and fresh. Fellow diner ordered the filet but didn't recommend it.
Steaks are amazing, truffle fries to die for, baconbread superb and service over the top...bathrooms a must see. We enjoyed the hell out off ourselves and had an 8 and 10 yr old in tow!!!!
5 = 5 Senses, and A5 = Wagyumarbledbeef from Japan. This is a modern, livelysteaklounge with a celebrated bar scene. A touch of Vegas high-rolling, if you will.
There is a $475 wagu beef sampler on the menu. We split it w/ 8 people & I feel like we got our money's worth. Ask the waiter to show you the beef *before* it's cooked for a "Cuts o' Beef 101" lesson
Server Ali is great - personable, knowledgeable, fun but not overbearing! A5 gradeWagyu is phenomenal! Also loved: hamachi shooters, truffled mac and cheese with lobster.
The atmosphere is great. The ribeye is definitely a house specialty, and the portion is decent. Clam chowder was a bit salty for my liking, but their dessert is amazing.

The is the type of steak house that serves glasses of wine from the night before (stores by barely corking). Bartender refused to pour from new bottle.
