- Alexandra PrevidiAugust 1, 2015One of the best delis of all time. I love the #8 and #9 grillers with their homemade ice tea. Try the Gobbler if you're a thanksgiving fan, or the Godfather if you have a big appetite.
- The. Best. Sandwiches. Period. You pay, but everything is super fresh & delicious. Lines on weekends but move quickly. Try roast beef joe on wheat (better than their rye!). (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Sabina B.February 28, 2014Don't let the crazy line or pandemonium scare you away - this place makes a kickass sandwich and is worth the kerfuffle. Get the Buffalo Big Bird and wash it down with their homemade sweet tea
- Try a breakfast sandwich like Taylor ham, egg & cheese or one of their specials with a cup of coffee. No better way to start the day - only til 11 am
- Jorge HerreraMarch 1, 2015The turkey wrap with cucumber is delicious!!! All sandwiches are the best in the area
- Look for the hot foods at the back of the store. Steak tips, chicken cutlet, etc.. It is the best stuff.
- Baanie ChandokFebruary 23, 2019The deli sandwiches here are Ah-mazing! You can't go wrong with your order here. Highly recommend.
- If you plan to pick up food betw 11:30 & 1:30, best to call in your order. 973-379-5800. You can pick up pre-made food but the wait can be over 20 minutes.
- Craig MiddletonJuly 19, 2016The food here is great, but it gets very crowded and they have no system for a line... Just grab a number and push through the crowds of people
- Emily CatherineAugust 23, 2015Roast beef sloppy joe is so amazing. Best part is that it's practically two servings!
- MichelleJuly 7, 2012Oh my god... Best sandwich I've had in a long time... Even beats the deli I worked in through college, which I thought was impossible!
- Mingo100October 10, 2011For 27 years I've only had the Roast Beef Joe. Today I ventured out and had Pastrami & Swiss. Best decision I ever made- other than marrying Jayne Shanker
- The sloppy joes are spectacular, but don't sleep on the chicken sandwiches.
- George ZaloomMarch 12, 2012Whenever I'm in NJ I try and bring about 20 Joes back to LA to share with friends (Ice tea as well...)
- Kristen MarieAugust 3, 2013The sandwiches are really good but it's such an uncomfortable experience to be there and order. It's loud, disorganized, rushed and I feel like I'm annoying the staff by being there
- Shariff MohmoudJanuary 21, 2016Turkey Joe! HMT Joe. Roast Beef Joe. #8 Griller. Mac and Cheese. Pickles. Iced tea.
- Smoked turkey Reuben is such a great sandwich. Order it when you go there.
- You can't go wrong here. Ever! But...you may have to wait a bit. It's worth it.
- M BApril 7, 2013Not bad, had pastrami on rye. Prefer the pastrami @ Deli King or Juniors in the city though. Nxt time will try a specialty sandwich.
- Make sure you try their homemade ice tea! Gobbler and godfadda are both great choices.
- ToryBurchMay 6, 2011Since 1946, a favorite among locals for lunch. It's worth waiting on line for their sloppy joes.
- Really overrated but still good. The soprano is my favorite.
- Pastrami and Provolone with chipotle mayo on sub bread is my favorite
- Try the salad bar! Choose your lettuce & toppings & they toss it. Ask for dressing on the side.
- Watching your weight? Get a joe with 2 pieces of bread and less cheese. Still delish!
- Best turkey club I've ever had! Definitely coming back here soon
- Michael OOctober 17, 2017Sandwiches are great (although I’ve had better elsewhere in NJ), but not worth the chaos, crowd, rush to order, and obnoxious clown horn.
- Get any time of joe, and make it better by getting it Grilled!
- Gobbler, Chicken Parm, and Mama Zuma's Habanero Chips (best and spiciest chips on the planet!)
