- Jennifer BlackMay 3, 2010Best free zoo in the country! Stick around for feeding time at the lion exhibit if you want to hear the big male lion roar his head off. That sound will go right THROUGH you!
- Cristian LöfvallNovember 11, 2015It's an awesome walk through the park... specially since it's free!
- Amanda Kocefas 🎀August 15, 2013The animals like a Sunday afternoon nap just like humans do. There's also a camel with a limp hump!
- Becky AguilarJuly 29, 2012A great place to go with the family and next to it there is a botanical garden
- Leandro VicenteMay 16, 2015The house with the giraffe that simulates an African evironment is mandatory!
- Free and beautiful. Stroll through it as part of a day at the lakefront.
- Hellen MarçalAugust 16, 2012I thought the animals sad, stressed and mistreated in small cages. Many animals were solitary, running in circles and sharing environments to mess with children. I believe the zoo deserves better care
- I love it. Once the weather get warmer, you will see more animals.
- Jennifer BobergAugust 17, 2014Sections under construction, made navigating more difficult this visit. Went to Children's section, that was cool!
- IntelWiMAXSeptember 13, 2010See an animal that you love? You're in a WiMAX hotspot, so hop online & adopt that adorable creature on the zoo's website: http://www.lpzoo.org/sup_ado.php
- Joe R.July 5, 2013Make sure you get a map so you don't walk in circles..."look Steven, the lions again"
- Elke SJune 19, 2011The lions are so thin and sad looking. And the tiger just walks the same path and hits his head against the window each time he passes by. So sad, makes me want to cry!
- KristinJuly 5, 2012Bus 151 to the park. The automated radio will tell you when to get off. Don't get off bus too early or you will be walking!
- Patricia Andrews-KeenanJanuary 27, 2017Our favorites? The Lions Tigers and Bears, especially the Polar Bear!
- Fun way to spend an afternoon in the summer. Perfect for family outings.
- Dave HoptonDecember 2, 2011Fantastic free family attraction. The primates, polar bear and beavers are particularly great!
- Amnah AOctober 11, 2019I don’t know what makes the gorilla sad that time😂 but the place is very very enjoyable
- Araceli ArroyoFebruary 4, 2012one of the least expensive zoo's in the nation with a wide variety of animals to visit
- Vivian NguyenSeptember 21, 2015We definitely got what we paid for. We came in the middle of Sept at 2ish, and a lot of the animals were not out.
- Chelsea GiananAugust 19, 2013Had a great time, most the animals looked like they needed to eat and couldn't stand the heat
- FouFou DogOctober 4, 2010Surprisingly good. Saw a lot of animals I had never seen I'm my life! Make sure you visit all the apes and monkeys!
- Joyce B.August 14, 2013Pack a lunch and just buy snacks because if you drive lot parking is 25 dollars for 1-3 hours.
