Justin • January 18, 2015Amazing building inside and out. Interesting shops and cafe areas. Worth even just a wander through to get a look at the incredible structure from the inside!
M W. • November 18, 2014Must see when in Reykjavik. Fantastic setting with the perfect blend of man-made and natural.
Hrönn J. • February 6, 2016Fun place to visit especially with tourists from around the world. Nice people who works there and the whole little village has such a great history.
María Inés F. • October 29, 2017Good exhibition, really well explained! Also the gift shop is pretty nice and there is a cozy cafe
Michael L. • November 4, 2012Being inside this building is like being inside a quiet, vast, glacier. Rich, dark, volcanic basalt line the inner walls; sculptured glass form the outer case. Beautiful. Go to the 5th floor view.
Juraj I. • June 7, 2015spacious place with interesting exhibitions. much more worth the time and the money than the national gallery.
Andrés M. • April 1, 2021Definitely one off the finest the restaurants in Reykjavík (prices not too extortionate). By the harbour, out in the fish packing district, a nice walk from the city centre. If windy/rainy, get a cab.
Silvia Stella O. • August 8, 2013Great indie theatre in Reykjavik! All their movies have subtitles in english, and the guys are really nice suggesting you what's on too! :)
New York P. • July 1, 2018Inside the Kex Hostel. I normally wouldn’t go to a hostel for dinner/drink but this place has a cool Ace Hotel vibe. The fried chicken is boneless and enough for 2 light eaters.
Jófríður • April 9, 2014Designed by master architect Alvar Aalto, Reykjavík’s Nordic House is a sight to behold & a great destination for an afternoon walk w/ an exquisite view of the city. Hosts art exhibitions & concerts.
Hannah K. • July 25, 2019Love this place! The ice cave was amazing. Cool exhibits and wonderful view from the rooftop.
Stephanie • December 30, 2016Small but worthy, admission from hafnarhus is good here, too and the installations are well put together.
Robbie G. • January 6, 2013Small, good quality exhibitions and free admission in the heart of Reykjavik. What more do you want?
Mat T. • March 14, 2014Good rock venue. The sound and lighting was pro. Beer was a little pricey but there was no cover for seeing 3 bands. Watch your head!
abigail. • February 5, 2018Worth the trip, very interesting if small museum with excellent sculptures on display.
Fukejř🧗 M. • October 14, 2018You can literally feel the great Icelandic history here! Worth to see it. It's perfectly produced.
Gabriel S. • June 11, 2022All modern art & not particularly interesting modern art either. There were 4 temporary exhibitions when I visited & no permanent collection
Michael L. • April 30, 2013So this was an interesting place, and I leaned a lot about the settlement of the island and city, it's history in shipping and fishing. But I thought it was a museum about Vikings.... It's not.
