Faith K. • August 9, 2011Took two tours - Highly suggest a visit to this museum. It was awesome and each tour guide was passionate, well informed and interesting.
Melissa F. • May 17, 2010I'll go again next time I'm in NYC! Beautiful use of small space, thoughtful & informative exhibits. And the gift shop sells G.O.D. goodies!

Naked B. • January 28, 2012This is a really nice museum down in th Seaport. It's not the biggest, but for $5 it's worth every penny if you're down there. I'm happy that it has re-opened, the space by itself is worth it.
Smithsonian Channel • June 24, 2011Home to five historical organizations, this center features an unparalleled collection of Judaica, including handwritten letters from Freud, Einstein, Kafka and more. (From Aerial America)
Roger S. • December 9, 2012Highly recommended both for the exhibits - interesting for adults but many child-friendly too - as well as the amazing vintage subway cars that you can explore.
Harri M. • March 5, 2022A must-visit when in New York. Very impressive - and also a very sad experience. All of 9/11 documented and shown in a detailed manner. Great memorial site: important for the world for not to forget.
James C. • February 21, 2014Really nice museum. Small but focus is on the site and prohibition. Guide was really good and knowledgable.
Jana L. • July 29, 2013Fabulous stop while touring lower Manhattan. They offer a Jr Ranger program for the kids, and plenty of rangers available to help and encourage them. Esp cool for a kid studying early US history.
Urban Oyster • March 30, 2011On the "Getting By" tour, several objects in the Baldizzi apartment are original artifacts used and donated by the family to the museum. Ask your tour guide which ones.
Chris S. • August 13, 2014Great little museum. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely check this place out if you have time!
Aya R. • January 16, 2010no matter who's artist is showing here, the building alone is worth the visit.
Pablo C. • April 13, 2015One of the best numismatic libraries. A previous appointment is indispensable.
Jenna S. • July 5, 2017This is where that man lives who's house is a welcoming collection of oddities. If you're in the area you should walk by and see if he's out! Say hi. Nicest guy ever. article:
Sara . • September 25, 2015Awesome museum with really interesting exhibits. Also an amazing wedding venue.
katharine v. • October 20, 2010Amazing cultural artifacts from all over the globe. Owner, David Blair Stiffer is a national treasure. A lot of magic in this store.
candace k. • January 9, 2014Both a moving and calming experience. Beautiful use of water. Make sure to get your tickets online in advance -- lots of queuing otherwise
Joel W. • December 31, 2021I had a deep look around this gallery and read the website since then. He's productive, eloquent, and opinionated. None of the work strikes me as particularly amazing, challenging.
