Gothamist • May 23, 2017This 718-acre park, located along thee Bronx River is home to the Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Garden, and it's got quite a few runner and bike paths, too.
Paige C. • March 7, 2016Obviously it's better when the giraffes are roaming outside, but during the colder months, you can get closer to them here. Wish they allowed feeding!
MAGGIE W. • April 10, 2013Bypass crowds by becoming a member of the WCS and get all around access to NYC's area's wildlife parks, aquariums, zoo.
Annette V. • October 6, 2016I was born in NY and I live in NJ now. I have been to the Bronx zoo as a kid & took my daughter as an adult on a school bus. No one ever mentioned the beauty of the NY Botanical Garden. This is a GEM!
Tina M. • May 28It was a bit of a wait but well worth it! Was there for a student parent trip and everyone also said it was the best part of the zoo. I loved it and the operatoranimated and made the ride so much fun!
Green H. • August 28, 2017Probably the least impressive exhibit in all of Bronx Zoo. There were hardly any butterflies (visited the zoo in summer)
Mark V. • July 17, 2011Before trying to view the bats look at the monkeys then back to the bats, allowing your eyes to adjust and see the bats better.
David D. • July 9, 2023Better quality and cost than you might fear for a zoo, though not outstanding. Definitely the best place to eat in the zoo. I think the sandwiches are overall the best
