Dorothy: DBan: Small & very pretty wine-centric restaurant in east-ish London - looked like a nice date night spot:
Dorothy: DBan: This restaurant is in Mia's neighborhood and is probably the best known Caribbean restaurant in London. Haven't been but want to go:
Dorothy: DBan: Big, brassy chicken + steak restaurant in an epic old bus depot (hence the name) in E. London - great spot for a big group dinner. They have a Damien Hirst piece in the middle of the restaurant.
Dorothy: DBan: For Fish & Chips, this is a local chain that I highly recommend. I've had a lot of F&C that weren't really that good, but this was solid. Get a side of Mushy Peas for an authentic experience!
Jeffrey: This was the original I believe, but find the original one near the British museum
Jeffrey: Amazing history of the blitz, where Churchill spent the war
Jeffrey: Could you get Tix? I want a report
Marissa: Amazing indian food in a colonial throwback setting, also specialize in pink gin!
Marissa: Go here for brunch and get everything, but be sure to make reservations as they've only got a few tables.
Jacques: Lego's largest store in Leicester Square. Definitely worth visiting to see the giant Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben) and Underground train
Jacques: You cannot visit London without seeing Tower Bridge. It is also located very near the Tower of London so you can see both within a few minutes
Jacques: Beautiful station. There is also a Harry Potter Shop located next to Platform 9 3/4
Jacques: catch a train from Victoria station and visit Brighton for the day. It is only an hour away and located on the South Coast. Brighton has lovely independent shops in 'The Lanes' and has a large pier with amusement arcades; rides and traditional fish and chip shops.
Jacques: The best day to visit Borough Market is Saturdays. Located only a stones throw from London Bridge and The Shard; it is a fantastic food market. built under the railway arches
Jacques: buy an ''Oyster Card" and top up for travel in London. You can use on buses; trains and the Underground. Buses do not take cash and it is cheaper on the underground to use a Oyster card than buying a paper ticket. You can top up the card at transportation stations and in shops displaying the Oyster symbol.
Jacques: Great historical neighbourhood; you can visit the Cutty Sark Tea Clipper; National Maritime Museum and stand across the Meridian line. Catch a boat from Westminster or the Docklands Light Railway from Tower Hill station to Greenwich
