- If going to a Tainted Love weekend show, buy tickets at least 1.5 weeks in advance. They always sells out, and you want to get tickets mailed to avoid waiting in the long will call line.
- Brian StraussJuly 25Gorgeous smallish venue. Opulent art deco bar. A trip back in time. Get there early and grab a table near the dance floor.
- Tim HarrisonNovember 6, 2017Excellent place to see a show, very cool atmosphere. Hard to park around here though.
- Ian WalterMay 10, 2015Awesome old timey venue if you can find a good band to see here. It's like going back to the 20s.
- Georganne CalyanisMarch 2, 2014A new San Francisco favorite gig. What a great, authentic vintage vibe.
- squeaselOctober 8, 2014Another small, historic, pretty venue in SF with some good shows and overpriced drinks. Parking sometimes a challenge.
- JennSeptember 3, 2013The definition of a swank, cavernous nightclub long before the Prohibition craze. Diverse, musical events galore. The back of the room is way too loud even if a plane landed you can't hear anything.
- David PriceFebruary 22, 2012During special events the fishtank behind the bar has a 4 inch human in it. Only special events because 4 inch humans that beach underwater have an expensive hourly rate!
- BAGeL TedApril 17, 2012Ticket holders to the left, all others (guest list, will call, ticket buyers) to the right.
- Daniel SalinasAugust 15, 2011A great space for music, though parking in North Beach is always a bit of a gamble.
- Stephen FoxOctober 21, 2012Visit Saul at the back bar; he does water colors of the bands while they play.
- Wolfgang's VaultAugust 12, 2011great shows, great sounds - it's like being in old-time San Francisco
- Luis MendozaApril 22, 2012Don't take photos or video record inside. They are nazis and will save you the embarrassment.
- Kelly KOctober 2, 2011Eat before you come. Service is sloooow and served on paper plates with plastic forks
- Irene MApril 30, 2015Sexy looking, but overpriced and pretentious for what it is. Maybe a good place to host a corporate party.
- Jennifer JenningsJune 4, 2009Go to Bimbo's 365 for an intimate music scene & feel like you are transported back to the 30's
